Friday, September 21, 7 p.m. at Control, Brooklyn:
Please join Control in welcoming renowned ambient artist, Robert Rich, and founder and chief engineer of Synthesis Technology and MOTM, Paul T. Schreiber, for a free workshop in the style of lecture on the art of creative synth patching.
Rich and Schreiber's long friendship and collaboration most recently found Rich as head beta-tester for Schreiber's epic E370 Quad Morphing VCO.
This intimate evening brings the two friends together again for an exploratory discussion (with demos!) on patching techniques to move the thoughtful modular player well beyond the bread and butter basics of signal path.
Rich will perform at the Ambient Church the following night, Saturday, Sept. 22, in Brooklyn, NY with Yusuke Yamamoto.
