How long does my order take to process and ship?

Our goal is to pack and ship all in-stock orders the same day or next day from when the order was placed with some exceptions due to holidays, used items and other special cases.

My order contains a Used Item, as well as a new item over $75. Why am I being charged for shipping?

Used items are not eligible for Free Shipping. If you place an order for both a New item and a Used item(s) you will only be charged for the weight and dimensions of the Used items.

How can I communicate special requests for my order?

In the “Special instructions for seller” section of your cart, you can leave us special requests and notes about your order; or contact us at orders@ctrl-mod.com.

I placed an order, but need to make a change. What do I do?

If you place an order and changed your mind about something (you need to add, or decided you did not want something) please email orders@ctrl-mod.com.

How do I cancel my order?

If you decide to cancel your order please write orders@ctrl-mod.com If your order has not been shipped, we can simply issue you a refund. If your order has already been shipped, then you can return your order to us, but you will be responsible for return shipping. Please write orders@ctrl-mod.com to coordinate this. What forms of payment do you accept?

Both of our Storefront and Online Site, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Our online store accepts the above payments and also Paypal, Amazon Pay, and Coinbase.

Our storefront accepts Cash and Visa Gift Cards.

For larger orders or orders placed by institutions, we can accept wire transfer or check on a case by case basis. Please write to orders@ctrl-mod.com to inquire about this form of payment.

How is my order refunded when paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum?

If you place an order with any Cryptocurrency and need to cancel or receive a refund for whatever reason, your order will be returned in USD for the total amount of whatever items are being returned. For example: If you order a $1 cable and need a refund you will be refunded $1, paid either through Paypal or Bank Transfer.

Who do I write if I have questions about my order?

Reply to your order email, or email orders@ctrl-mod.com with your Order # for any questions you have about an order you have already place, or questions about an order you would like to place.

Will I receive a confirmation email when I place my order?

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation, when your order has been placed, as well as when it has been shipped. If you have any questions about your order, you can simply reply directly to this email, and we will get it. If you have placed an order but have not received email notifications please check your account to make sure you entered the correct email or check your spam folder.

Can I add an item to my order that I already placed?

Did you forget to add some cables or blanks, or maybe we listed a new item moments after placing your order? Once an order has been placed, it technically cannot be edited or amended. You will have to place another order for your additional item(s). If your original order has not been shipped, you can arrange to have the orders shipped together. To do this, select “In-Store Pickup” as the shipping method on your additional order, and write in the notes section that you would like your two orders shipped together. Always feel free to write orders@ctrl-mod.com, and we can walk you through it. Please note that this process may slow down the delivery of your module by 1-2 days. If your original order has already been shipped, the two orders will go out separately. For international orders, additional shipping charges will apply. Can I pick my online order up from the Control Storefront?

Yes, absolutely! Select “In-Store Pickup” as your shipping method during checkout. We will email you, when your order is available for pickup (typically within 1-2 days for in-stock items.) Please have your Order # ready, when you visit the shop.

My order contains a Pre-Order plus In-Stock items, when will you ship the in-stock items?

For domestic orders, we will ship your in-stock items in advance of your pre-order, and then ship your pre-order separately, once it arrives.

For international orders, we wait until the pre-order has arrived to ship out the full order. If you would like the in-stock items shipped in advance of your pre-order, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs. Please arrange with us over email: orders@ctrl-mod.com

I received my order but some items are missing or are incorrect, what should I do?

Our apologies! Please contact orders@ctrl-mod.com with your order # and the error, and we will follow up as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

When will I receive my Pre-Order?

We communicate directly with the companies we supply when determining an ETA for items we list as a Pre-Order.

ETA’s can often time’s be subject to change without notice due to delays in manufacturing or un-forseen circumstances. If the Pre-Order date does change we will update the ETA of the Product Page immediately with new information supplied by the manufacturer.

Where do I enter my gift code or discount code?

After you select “Check Out” in your cart, you are taken to the page where you can apply gift codes and discount codes. Only one discount code can be used at a time, however multiple gift codes may be used.

Are you getting this back in-stock?

For immediate info on an out of stock item, just email us! Or alternatively just enter your email address in the notify box on the product page you're looking at! Then we can email you if and when we get it back in stock.

Shipping

Who is responsible for lost packages?

Control does not take responsibility for lost packages during shipping. While we will do whatever we can to communicate with the shipping carrier to locate your package, the customer is responsible for lost packages. If you are nervous about shipping to your location, we strongly do not recommend using USPS and suggest using FedEx or UPS. If you need insurance please email us at orders@ctrl-mod.com to make arrangements.

What method of shipping is used for your Free Shipping option?

Our Free Shipping option is selected by choosing the most economic rate from either USPS, UPS or Fedex.

It’s been several days and my order/tracking still shows being processed or awaiting label creation, what do I do?

If you have received a tracking number, then your order has been packed and shipped from our facility, based on the shipping cutoff times as outlined in our shipping policy. Most notoriously USPS tracking can be slow to update tracking information on their side of things, or update erratically or inefficiently. The best thing to do in these instances is to keep an eye on the tracking. We have even had instances where tracking from USPS hasn’t updated even after the package has been delivered. If your package has not arrived within 7 business days from the time of our shipping notification to you, please let us know. Write orders@ctrl-mod.com, and we will work with you to find a resolution. We have notified USPS and Consumer Affairs about these issues.

What shipping carriers do you use for Domestic Shipping?

We offer a number of shipping services by USPS, Fedex and UPS.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. If you place an order on our site and your shipping destination is not listed please email us direct at orders@ctrl-mod.com

What services do you use for International Shipping?

We offer shipping via USPS, DHL, Fedex, and UPS. Shipping costs are calculated in the checkout page.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Only USPS services are shipped to PO Box addresses. UPS and Fedex Services will not ship to PO Box addresses.

Do you ship to FPO/APO or other US Territory Addresses?

Yes. We ship to all US Territories, FPO, and APO addresses with free USPS Priority Shipping service for orders over $75 with some exclusions.

How do I add Signature Confirmation to my order?

All orders are shipped without signature confirmation as outlined in our shipping policy, unless you email to specially request it. Please email orders@ctrl-mod.com to request signature confirmation. You will be responsible for additional fees.

Will I be charged Duties and other fees?

Import duties, taxes and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling costs. Duties, taxes and/or fees will be collected upon delivery from the carriers for certain packages. These charges are the recipient’s responsibility. Control only charges the transportation fee. You may check with your country’s customs office to determine what the additional costs will be.

Where can I find shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated by the items you would like to order and your shipping address. To calculate shipping cost, please add the items to cart on our site and select your shipping address. From there you will be given all the different types of shipping services.

Does my order ship with insurance?

Most orders do not ship with insurance, and if they do, insurance is nominal (up to $50 for USPS Priority Mail and up to $100 for FedEx and UPS.) However, we can insure your package by request by writing us at order@ctrl-mod.com. You will be responsible for any additional fees.

If I want my order to be shipped the same day, what are the cut off times for the various services?

Orders with our Free Shipping and USPS Priority Mail service need to be placed by noon to ensure same day shipping. If your order is placed after noon, it will go out the next business day.

Orders with FedEx or UPS shipping chosen will be dropped off at the courier on same day if placed by 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday-Friday with some exceptions.

Orders placed placed on Fridays after 4pm, Saturdays, and Sundays are not processed until the following Monday.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Yes. Tracking numbers are sent automatically in your shipping confirmation via email.

I live in a country outside of the US and just tried to place an order but the shipping cost is extremely high, please help!

The calculations on our site for International delivery are correct. However, we can offer a cheaper USPS First Class service. This service will not come with tracking and we can not be responsible for it being lost or damaged during deliver. This service is offered at your own risk. If you would like to use this option please email orders@ctrl-mod.com for quotes.

Can my order be shipped a certain way and/or to arrive by a certain date?

If an order needs to be rushed or has special instructions please email us at orders@ctrl-mod.com and we will do our best to accommodate.

Are the shipping times accurate?

The U.S. Postal system does not guarantee delivery times. Please be aware that we are not responsible for delays caused by weather or by a postal services’ holiday schedule. Nor are we responsible for packages unsigned for at the arrival destination.

Do you ship on the weekends?

No, we do not ship weekends. Our mailorder departments is open Monday - Friday 10-6pm.

How do I arrange for my order to be delivered on a Saturday?

USPS Priority and Priority Express does deliver on Saturdays but they do not guarantee delivery. We suggest using FedEx or UPS. In order to initiate this, you will be charged an extra service fee. To arrange this service please email orders@ctrl-mod.com
